     Tropical Imports is an importing firm based both in Canada and Brazil. We are situated in the heart of one of the best hammock producing regions of Brazil, and the world. As a result, our prices are reasonable and our quality is impressive. We work closely with producers in north-eastern Brazil (Ceará) to ensure a high standard of quality at competitively low prices.      The company is a partnership between Tropical Exports, with an office in Fortaleza, Brazil, and Tropical Imports, with an office in Oshawa, ON, Canada. The staff in Brazil (a Canadian husband, Brazilian wife) live in the area of production to maintain the close contact with producers and assure quality and price control.

     We are committed to social development in this region of Brazil and as a company policy we will not exploit impoverished people or children.
